Dear Void (an actual place or now?)*,
I was looking back through posts to see what all I’ve written and decided – let’s have a ‘blast into the past’! (Too cliche?) So I’ll be picking out a few of my favorites and talking about my thoughts now. (Thanks Sabrina for the idea with looking into the past with your banners post – check it out btw)
So I read through it and you know what – I guess it’s a look into what my blog’s about, with me rambling and talking a lot about books and just whatever I feel like! Also, I was looking through the comments and everyone was so sweet for welcoming me into the ‘blogosphere’.
I don’t know why but I remember when I was thinking about making a blog this was one of the first ideas that came to mind to talk about and so I was like why not? I don’t really remember when I came up with the title and how I decided to actually out it up but I guess is shows the chaos of my brain!
I had seen this one line mentioned on another blog (that sadly doesn’t exist anymore) that said we were actually made of stars. I was like whaaaat!! And then decided to dig and do some research until I was like: okay, I need to share this with everyone I know. So after that, I also, of course, had to blast it into the nothingness that is here. (If only the void had stars, but then I guess it wouldn’t be a void).
So Love from Mecca to Medina was the first Advance Reader Copy (ARC) that I got that I was really anticipating!! I was part of a blog tour that Zainab told me about -which I’m forever grateful because I was so excited. We compared our reviews for the tour and talked endlessly about the book. I love it, you should love it -and that’s all I have to say about that
I had to put this one up here merely because I’m still super proud of that photo and think it perfectly encapsulates me. Love traveling, love writing -if only I had a book in that picture too! Looking back, I was talking about it being the end of 2022 and now I guess it’s cyclical that it’s almost the end of 2023 (not getting over that). Also I had high hopes of consistent posting and I may have let myself down. 12 posts isn’t that bad is it… one post a month? But also I was talking about only having read 47 books last year but I’ve read 70 books already this year so yay!
Anyway, thanks for reading this -I guess we’re reflecting now that we’re almost in 2024..
I’ll be back!

*Is the void a mental or physical place. Perhaps the void exists within you, where you hide and slip between when there’s nothing else to do. Maybe the void is your thoughts..some place no one can enter but you. If so, where are my letters going? Does everyone have their own personal void?
p.s Void definitions are definitely becoming harder with so much already being said
p.p.s I feel like I may have written a similar void definition but you know what if don’t remember, you can’t either and I’m sure I out some new ideas in here
p.p.p.s I just realised wordpress didn’t remind me if my blogoversary and I missed celebrating it! I guess 2 years will do..
